Navy Farm was inspired by Peyton Cochran’s passion for the wellbeing of horses and particular love of the miniature variety. Founded in 2020, Navy Farm began with one miniature horse (Navy) and grew into a herd through the help and support of Rising Starr Horse Rescue “RSHR” located just 2 miles down the street. Peyton and RSHR’s Founder Kelly Stackpole had instantly bonded over the challenge of bringing miniature horse, Navy, to his new home in Ridgefield. They continue to support each other in educating people on horse ownership and responsible rescue through collaborative experiences. Today Navy continues in his role as RSHR’s ambassador.
